This has heightened the importance of basic differentiation through creation of more advanced, more innovative designs and strengthening the corporate brand through creation of a coherent design identity. However, the question then becomes what form of management the corporation should adopt to promote creation of such designs. It may be fairly said that business administration studies have heretofore left this question largely unanswered. In this light, this research attempt to elucidate important conditions in organizational structure and design processes that support the creation of these distinctive brand designs.
